She remained in the area for her undergraduate degree at the College of Charleston, studying biology, and moved on to the Medical University of South Carolina to study medicine and graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine from medical school and then internal medicine. Starting a family with her husband, a Summerville native, and her love for the Lowcountry influenced her to pursue a fellowship in Endocrinology at the Medical University in Charleston.

Temple has 13 years of experience as a PA and a decade of experience in Endocrinology. Nutrition and general healthy lifestyle/behaviors are an integral part of her “medication regimen.” Although she has a special interest in diabetes, insulin pumps, and thyroid disease, she practices all aspects of adult endocrinology. It is very fulfilling to help patients understand the “why behind the what” and in turn become very successful with managing their medical conditions.
