Pituitary Gland Disorders
The hormones of the pituitary gland help regulate the functions of other endocrine glands. The pituitary gland is dubbed the “master gland” because its hormones control other parts of the endocrine system, most importantly the thyroid gland, adrenal glands, ovaries, and testes.
Pituitary tumors disrupt the gland’s normal ability to release hormones. Hormonal imbalances can cause problems in many areas of the body.
The pituitary gland is immensely important to the overall function of your endocrine system—and to your overall help. By working with us, we can ensure that your body’s internal processes work as they should.
Adrenal Gland Disorders
The adrenal glands are the two glands that sit on top of your kidneys that are the makeup of the adrenal cortex and the adrenal medulla. They have a multi-function role in the endocrine system regulating and maintain many of your internal processes—from metabolism to the flight-or-flight response.
The most common disorders and diseases on the adrenal glands include Addison’s disease, adrenal cancer, Cushing’s syndrome, congenital adrenal, and hyperplasia.
